Law of Attraction Principles

Using law of attraction principles will improve your quality of thought and quality of life. You can learn to control the negative thoughts and circumstances that are presently controlling your life.

The principles have been covered in detail in the book and movie The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. The wisdom of this law has been known since ancient times. Countless other publications have documented these principles as well.

Law of Attraction Principles

The principles are very simple yet very complex. They boil down to this:
· Our thoughts create our reality.
· What we are attached to emotionally and energetically expands.

There is an intellectual and emotional aspect to this natural law. You can transform your life by changing our thoughts, emotions and beliefs. Imagine what power you have. Some people may be a bit unsettled to learn this. Courage is needed to admit we actually do have control over our circumstances. With this wisdom, our stressors could be all but eliminated.

Before the law of attraction can be fully used, we need to explore and expand three areas.
1) Building self esteem. Changing negative circumstances requires feeling deserving enough to have a better life. Hang on tightly to the positive thoughts and feelings you have of yourself. Love yourself.
2) Developing wealth consciousness. Instead of wallowing in stress and misery, think and dream of your ideal life. Monetary wealth is only part of the mindset. Whatever brings you happiness, health and prosperity should envelope your thoughts and emotions. Focusing on what brings you joy will turnaround the bleakest of situations.
3) Expanding gratitude. No matter how bleak your life may appear, there is always something to be grateful for. The sound of children laughing, the warmth of the sunshine, flowers and nature are examples. Dwelling on what we are thankful for keeps the negative thoughts to a minimum.

Think of this. You are presently working at a job you feel stuck in for financial reasons or other. Every workday is one of dread and stress. Your thoughts are consumed with the loathing you feel for your job. You occasionally have a thought of a dream job. But, that little voice says, “That will never happen to me.”

Sound familiar? That was my situation for a long time. What changed my thinking and feeling was an idea from Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich. I learned by keeping my mind and positive feelings on my goal alone, I would change my negative situation.

Become aware of your thoughts and feelings. It totally worked for me. Whenever I thought about my misery, I would immediately switch my thinking to visualizing my goal – working at home and being with my son. I believed wholeheartedly it would come to be. I am doing just that today.

The law of attraction – LOA – is a somewhat complex scientific principle involving quantum physics, energy and universal law. Some have used it to become healthy, wealthy and wise. My simplistic version here can be used to change your negative thinking, emotions and beliefs. By doing so, a more favorable outcome will come from any stressful situation.

Someone asked me what the law of attraction has to do with stress relief. It has everything to do with stress relief in that negative emotions, situations and beliefs are the cause of stress. The LOA teaches us how to turn around negativity to produce more peace, health and abundance in our lives.
